Meet the Wala Team

Albert Jatoe

Albert is the lead man for our Wala team.  Albert lives in Wa, in the upper northwest of Ghana, among the Wala people.  Albert is translating Bible stories and Christian material into the Wala language, and is training the church planter teams to go into the Wala villages.

Albert has been planting churches in the unreached villages of the Wa area for several years, and is excited about this new opportunity to reach the Wala people.

Albert and his wife Adeline lead Wa Community Church in Wa, and oversees several church plants around the Wa area.

Emmanuel Tettey (Pastor T)

Pastor Tettey is our prayer coordinator for reaching the Wala people.  Pastor T is a man of prayer - rising each morning at 3AM to prayer walk for three hours.   He and Albert have prayer walked among the Wala villages, and is keeping the focus of prayer lifted up for the Wala.

Pastor Tettey and his wife Helen lead Next Generation Church in Akosombo, in the southeast of Ghana, and he oversees several church plants in the Akosombo area.

Prosper Amoah

Prosper Amoah is our technology coordinator for the Wala project.   Prosper is taking the translations that Albert is producing and recording them on the computer where they can then be dubbed on to videos or added to the Megavoice solar powered mp3 players.

Prosper and his wife Ruth lead New Creation Church of Sokudae in the Volta region of Ghana, and he oversees several church plants in the Sokudae area.
